    The BMMC AGM is coming up next Thursday. This is when you get your say in the operations of the Club.
    The Club will be putting up $500 in appies. See you then.

    The festivities will begin with appies being rolled out at around 6:30 pm as people arrive.

    BMMC Club Memberships as well as BCORMA Trail Passes will be available before the AGM. This will leave you with just the price for the ride at the 2018 Route of All Evil.

    The AGM begins at 7:30 pm. The directors of the BMMC will step down and elections held.

        Minutes for the 2017 Annual General Meeting
        December 7/2017

        Meeting was called to order at 7:30pm

        The minutes for the Nov meeting were accepted as presented.

        The 2017 directors resigned and elections were held for the 2018 directors.

        By acclimation the 2018 Directors are:
        President: Doug Young
        Vice President: Ryan Thom
        Treasurer: Dave Sudul
        Secretary :Heather Green
        Director at large: Clay Walker

        Submissions were made for the trail committee members:
        Richard Albertson
        Lionel Leatherdale
        Clay Walker
        Ryan Thom

        Submissions were made for the marketing committee members:
        Rick Green
        Damien Norris

        As there were only 4 submissions for Trail Committee and 2 for Marketing Committee , they were accepted as submitted

        Dave Sudul provided an account of the years finances to date. 2017 Financial statements and budget were presented. Stats for the 2017 include: Memberships 262 and Trail passes sold 156

        Presidents Report: Doug Young stated 2017 was a "breakthrough year" Thanked Marketing Committee and Trail Committee members for their work this year for Section 56/57. The BMMC proposal was completed after lots of time and effort and was submitted by RSTBC Nov.19th, 2017 and is at the referral stage. Stakeholders have 45 days to respond. Ryan discusses joint 250 year harvesting proposal between Kwantlen and Katzie . Area of BMMC trails are "light touch" areas. The 6000 hectares goes from Allouette Lake to Stave Lake. Western Red Cedar will be preserved for "Cultural Needs"

        Marketing/Internet Committee Report: Talk of the BMMC website changes re turning it into a portal for trail conditions and up to date information. Discussion about Facebook and the Forum Rick proposes some of the links from Facebook be redirected to the Forum. Damien noted for his hard work and dedication for the Section 56/57 proposal.

        Trail Committee Report : We should be able to get funding from RSTBC for projects in the coming year. Discussions of rental for mini dumper/ excavator rental and of bringing back prisoner work. Gravel pit on 256 is not sold so there will be no movement on Gate on 256th Street. No resolution on Mcnutt gate key
        New Business: Motion was made to create a Route of all Evil Committee/Event Committee. Discussion about dates for the Route of All Evil 2018. Idea of May/June was mentioned.

        Meeting was adjourned at 8:55pm
