2026 Route of All Evil Fun Ride Jun 21st

Route of All Evil Fun Ride is Sunday, June 21st. Register online.

What is the ROAE?

It’s an annual Fun Ride that the club holds. It’s not a race – there are no prizes for finishing first. There are 2 loops – A (Expert) and B (Intermediate). A loop is around 55KM and B is around 30KM. Depending on skills and experience, it should take 2.5-4 hours to complete the loop. There are places where you can duck out of the A loop and ride the B loop if it ends up harder than expected and there are a number of places from the B loop to get back onto the FSR’s to ride back if the B loop ends up too much, or you have a minor mechanical etc. There will be A and B sweepers who will be riding at the back to ensure nobody gets left behind. The loops will be marked with arrows – follow the arrows. There are several locations where the A and B loops ‘split’ – there will be A/B signs to denote the split.

Bring some cash as we’ll have merchandise (club shirts, hats, hoodies, plus previous years’ event shirts) on sale, plus a 50/50 draw and a raffle for larger prizes.

Sign-up begins at 8AM in the staging area (north end of 256th street). Rider’s meeting is at 9:30am, and then the ride starts at 10am. Please park in a way that leaves room for others to park – there will be a lot of vehicles at the event and the staging area will end up full – park on the gravel road if there isn’t room in the staging area. Please show up at the sign-up booth well before the rider’s meeting. If you pre-registered online, you’ll just have a form to sign and then get a numbered tag. If you didn’t the registration will be an extra $10 ($50 instead of $40), and you’ll have to fill out the registration form. It’s MUCH faster if everybody registers online. Online registration is cut-off around 9pm the night before the event, so we have time to process the registrations.

When you get back, return to the registration table to return your tag – don’t forget as if you don’t return your numbered tag, we’ll assume you’re still out there and will start looking for you… Once you’ve returned your tag, you’ll get a numbered ticket for the prize table, an event T-Shirt and then can have a burger/hot dog and a drink from the BBQ.

When the majority of the riders have returned, we’ll do the 50/50 draw and hold the raffle. After that, we’ll start pulling ticket numbers for prizes on the prize table. If your number is called you can go and pick from anything on the prize table.
